About Marina
Every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported.
Becoming a parent is one of life's most meaningful transitions—but it can also be one of the most overwhelming.
My professional journey has always been centered around mothers and babies. I began my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in prenatal massage and infant massage, before becoming a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth instructor, and breastfeeding educator.
Later, I worked for more than six years as a hospital-based Lactation Consultant, helping hundreds of new families during those precious first days after birth. That experience gave me the opportunity to work with babies facing a wide range of feeding challenges and taught me the importance of individualized care.
Today, as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I provide personalized in-home consultations for families throughout South Florida. Every visit is tailored to the unique needs of each mother and baby. My approach combines evidence-based lactation care with careful observation, education, and practical solutions that families can confidently continue at home.
I have extensive training in infant oral function, tongue and lip ties, breastfeeding mechanics, pumping, bottle feeding, and helping parents understand the “why” behind the recommendations they receive. I believe that when parents understand what is happening, they feel empowered to make the best decisions for their family.
Whether you are preparing for your baby's arrival, facing unexpected breastfeeding challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, my goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate feeding their baby and the many questions that arise along the way.

Pain, clicking, long feeds, slow weight gain, clogged ducts, oversupply, low supply. We look at positioning first because it is often the simplest fix, then work through the rest with weighted feeds when the numbers matter.
Flange sizing, pump settings, a schedule that fits your actual workday, and how much milk you really need to leave behind. Most parents are told to pump more than necessary.
Paced bottle feeding, choosing a nipple, protecting supply while supplementing, and moving between breast and bottle without a fight. Combination feeding is a real plan, not a failure.
Suck strength, coordination, jaw tension, palate shape, and reflexes all show up at the breast. Watching a full feed tells me more than a mouth check alone.
I assess how your baby's tongue actually moves and what happens under the breast or bottle. Sometimes the answer is a release, often it isn't. Either way you get an explanation, a plan, and referrals to Miami-area providers if you need them.
You will get the reasoning behind every suggestion, in words you can repeat to your pediatrician or your partner at 3 a.m. Parents who know why a thing works stick with it.

In-home lactation visit
I come to you anywhere in Miami-Dade or Broward. We watch a full feed, check latch and positioning, look at your baby's oral function, weigh before and after when it helps, and you keep the written plan.
Follow-up visits
Feeding keeps changing. Follow-ups cover growth spurts, starting to pump, returning to work, and weaning when you get there.
Virtual consult
The same visit by video if you're outside my travel area, or you'd rather not have anyone in the house this week.
